The Nonprofit Resource Network serves South Central Pennsylvania providing professional training and information resources for employees working in the not-for-profit sector.
The Nonprofit Resource Network strengthens communities by enhancing the effectiveness of nonprofit organizations through professional development and information resources.
In 2004, the Lancaster County Community Foundation (LCCF) worked with the Polk Lepson Research Group to confirm two identified needs among nonprofit leaders in Lancaster County—the need for 1) professional training and 2) greater access to information resources. Thus, LCCF launched LeadWell in 2007, a collaborative partnership focused on capacity building in the nonprofit sector.
LeadWell focuses on building nonprofit capacity in Lancaster County. Within its first year, NRN is already responding to the expressed need for training not only in Lancaster County but throughout South Central PA. In 2008, the organization will also be offering classes in Cumberland and Dauphin Counties.
