Gerald W. Meck

Gerald W. Meck brings 30 years of experience in nonprofit organizations to his current position as President and CEO of United Disabilities Services (UDS), where he has grown the agency from a single program provider to a multipurpose, multi-county organization with a budget of 18 million dollars.  Past management experience includes: Executive Director of a New York City residential program and Director of a volunteer program.  Gerald is a member of the Disability Service Providers of America Steering Committee; Past Chair of the United Cerebral Palsy of PA Executive Directors Association; National Ethic Standards Committee Standards for Excellence Institute; Board member of Lancaster Disabled for Change and Justice; Accessing Independence; UDS Direct Service Corporation; and the Lancaster Chamber Legislative Advisory Committee. Gerald Meck received his Master’s in Counseling Education from Millersville University, his Bachelor’s in Sociology and Psychology degrees from Eastern Mennonite University, and attended the Management Institute, Columbia University, New York.
