The Nonprofit Resource Network (NRN) is proud of its affiliation with LeadWell, a collaborative partnership of the Lancaster County Community Foundation and community leaders, focused on building capacity in the nonprofit sector. LeadWell goals that the NRN seeks to fulfill include:
Other LeadWell partners include The Duke Street Business Center and Leadership Lancaster.
As a LeadWell partner, the Duke Street Business Center at the Lancaster County Public Library houses a collection of resources focused on nonprofit governance, fundraising and management issues. The Center also provides on-site, FREE access to the Foundation Center Online Directory which allows users to research grant sources and grant writing training across the country.
As a LeadWell partner, Leadership Lancaster is developing a new Board Leadership Academy to be launched in Fall 2008. The curriculum will include: Governance Basics, Building Effective Boards, and electives on fundraising, strategic planning and finance--all taught from the board perspective.

The NRN provides our Getting Started as a New Fundraiser Series in conjunction with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central PA Chapter. This partnership allows both organizations to offer these more frequently and with increased opportunities for scholarships.

Millersville University is an approved continuing education provider for CFRE International. What this means is that participants in any of the modules for the Private vs. Public Funding, Getting Started as a Fundraiser Series and Experienced Fundraiser Series may count their time as points toward becoming a Cerfified Fund Raising Executive.

United Way of Lancaster County assists in maintaining an accurate list of nonprofit events in the Lancaster County area. Also in Lancaster, Volunteer Solutions links potential volunteers with the community organizations that pique their particular service interests, and the United Way LINC database connects persons in need with the agencies best suited to meet their needs.
The Nonprofit Resource Network values collaboration and teamwork, seeking to provide services that supplement those already in existence. We work in coordination with regional partners to strengthen resources and opportunities available for nonprofit organizations, leaders and staff.
